The Strategic Plan 2020 outlines what the KBSP plan to do and the priorities for the partnership until 2023.
The Children and Social Care Act 2017 and Working Together to Safeguard Children 2018 explain how the government and the law want all people supporting children to talk to each other and work together to keep them safe. Part of the law says that people working with children to keep them safe have to be checked and supported to make changes to their work to make it better. The Keeping Children Safe Business Delivery Group finds out what and how those changes need to be made.
The Care Act 2014 is the law around looking after adults who need some extra help and support. The Care Act says that people working with adults need to also have some thoughts about how they can make their support for adults better. The people who make plans and find out what those changes need to be are the Keeping Adults Safe Business Delivery Group.
The Crime and Disorder Act 1998 explains the law around community safety and mainly the law for the police. Checking their work and if things can be improved is the Keeping Communities Safe Business Delivery Group.
Once a year, the Keeping Bristol Safe Partnership write a report which contains information about the work the partnership has done in the last year. The reports are published on our website so that anyone working with children, adults and communities in Bristol can stay up to date with our work.
